A senior official of Uganda’s National Unity Platform (NUP), Nyanzi Fred Ssentamu, has publicly denied claims that he is a state witness in an ongoing court case involving party members at Kanyanya, describing the allegations as false and politically motivated.
In a statement, Nyanzi said his attention had been drawn to what he termed “malicious claims” by state prosecutors linking him to the case.
