Moses Omaido, an accounting officer at Wakiso District Headquarters, was brutally killed over the weekend in a shocking domestic incident involving two women, police reports indicate.

Information gathered by local authorities shows that Omaido, who was married with children, invited two women to his home while his family was away in the village.

One of the women, Aliyah Nakimera, was reportedly a former girlfriend, while the other, identified as Oliver Agadi, was his current partner.

According to eyewitness accounts, Agadi arrived at Omaido’s residence around 10 pm, only to find Nakimera already in the sitting room.

Agadi reportedly avoided confrontation and proceeded to the bedroom, where she spent the night with Omaido. Sounds from the bedroom later reached Nakimera, who expressed frustration and anger over being excluded from the encounter.

Early on Sunday morning, Omaido emerged from the bedroom and confronted Nakimera, who demanded that he spend time with her, citing the previous night’s activities with Agadi as a justification.

The request led to a heated verbal exchange, and Agadi intervened, attempting to mediate.

The situation quickly escalated when Nakimera allegedly picked up a knife and attacked Omaido, slashing his neck. In a desperate attempt to escape, Omaido tried to remove the weapon, but he succumbed to his injuries on the spot.

Police have confirmed Omaido’s death and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the altercation. The two women involved have been taken into custody for questioning.

Wakiso District Police Spokesperson, [Name], said authorities are examining the sequence of events to determine the exact cause of the fatal injuries and whether any charges will be filed.

The incident has sent shockwaves through the Wakiso community, highlighting the dangers of personal disputes escalating into violence. Local leaders have called for calm and urged residents to resolve conflicts peacefully, emphasizing the need for responsible behavior even in private matters.

Omaido is survived by his wife and children. Police have appealed to the public to come forward with any information that could assist in concluding the investigation.
