A new chapter has emerged in Uganda's long-running political and legal confrontation involving opposition veteran Dr. Kizza Besigye and Chief of Defence Forces Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, with the military commander seeking the dismissal of a case that challenges controversial statements allegedly made about Besigye's fate.
