President Yoweri Museveni has issued a stern warning to newly appointed ministers and senior government officials, urging them to abandon corruption, selfish interests, and personal ambitions if Uganda is to achieve its development goals.
Speaking during the opening of a 10-day Cabinet Induction Retreat at the National Leadership Institute in Kyankwanzi, Museveni reminded leaders that public office is a responsibility meant to serve citizens rather than a platform for personal enrichment.
Describing Kyankwanzi as a place that symbolizes sacrifice and commitment, the President said the National Resistance Movement (NRM) was built on principles of service and dedication to the people.GET FULL STORY HERE.
