A fresh political controversy has emerged following the circulation of remarks allegedly attributed to CDF Muhoozi Kainerugaba, in which he is said to have encouraged opposition Members of Parliament to join the Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU) in a move aimed at "capturing Parliament."

The reported comments, which have spread widely across social media platforms, have generated intense discussion among politicians, analysts, and members of the public.
