A fresh wave of political debate has swept across Uganda after a Nigerian cleric claimed that President Yoweri Museveni could oversee another constitutional change aimed at easing the path for his son, Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, to eventually assume the presidency.
The prediction, made by Nigerian preacher Primate Elijah Ayodele, has reignited one of the country's most sensitive political discussions: the question of succession after nearly four decades of Museveni's leadership.
