Political blogger and supporter of the Patriotic League Uganda (PLU) Mwesigye Frank has tied the knot in a private wedding ceremony held at the historic St. Paul’s Cathedral, Namirembe Hill, in a moment marked by faith, family, and celebration.

The ceremony, which was presided over by the Archbishop of the Church of Uganda, took place in the presence of senior clergy and invited guests who witnessed the couple exchange vows in a solemn but joyful service.

The Archbishop, Stephen Samuel Kaziimba Mugalu, led prayers and officiated the union, blessing the couple as they began their new journey in marriage.

In a statement shared after the ceremony, Mwesigye expressed gratitude for what he described as a divinely guided milestone, noting that the day marked the fulfillment of a long-awaited promise.

“We made it at Namirembe Hill, in St. Paul’s Cathedral, and in the presence of the Archbishop, I proudly said ‘I do’ to the love of my life,” he said.

He further thanked the church leadership, family members, and guests who attended the service, praising their punctuality, prayers, and support.

According to him, their presence played a key role in making the day memorable and spiritually uplifting.

The wedding was described as private but well-attended by close associates, reflecting a balance between personal privacy and public interest given Mwesigye’s profile as a political blogger aligned with Patriotic League Uganda.

Following the church ceremony, the couple invited guests to continue celebrations at a reception scheduled for 2:00 PM in Kigo, where friends and well-wishers were expected to join in the festivities.

Mwesigye concluded his message with a note of gratitude, saying the couple looks forward to the next chapter of their lives together, asking for continued prayers and blessings as they begin their marriage journey.
