EXPLOSIVE CLAIM: Nigerian Prophet Sees Chaos, Assassination Threat in Uganda Succession Plot (VIDEO)

A prophecy by Nigerian cleric Primate Ayodele has stirred renewed conversation about Uganda’s political future, particularly the question of succession from President Yoweri Museveni to his son, Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba.

The remarks, delivered during a church sermon, present a dramatic narrative of Uganda’s potential political transition.

Ayodele claimed he received what he described as a spiritual message indicating that President Museveni is making preparations to hand over power to his son, who currently serves as Chief of Defence Forces.

The prophecy, however, went beyond succession. The cleric suggested that the transition, if it unfolds as envisioned, could trigger internal resistance within Uganda’s military hierarchy.

He warned of possible tensions involving senior officers who, according to his claim, may oppose such a move.

In a more alarming assertion, Ayodele said the vision he described included the possibility of violence linked to the succession process, framing it as a consequence of internal disagreement among powerful security actors.

He maintained that the events he referred to would “manifest soon,” though he did not provide specific timelines.

The claims come at a time when discussions around Uganda’s leadership succession remain politically sensitive. Gen. Muhoozi has in the past publicly hinted at political ambitions, positioning himself within national debates on future leadership.

President Museveni, who has ruled Uganda for nearly four decades, has also faced long-standing speculation about succession planning, though no formal transfer arrangement has been announced.

Security and political analysts have consistently warned that succession politics in long-serving administrations often generate competing interests within state institutions, particularly the military.

So far, there has been no official reaction from either the Ugandan government or military leadership regarding the cleric’s remarks.

The claims also remain unverified and are framed as personal religious interpretation rather than established political fact.

Still, the prophecy has added a fresh layer to ongoing public discourse about Uganda’s political trajectory, highlighting the sensitivity surrounding leadership transition in one of East Africa’s most closely watched political systems.
