Inside Nabbanja’s Kampala Dinner With Speaker Oboth-Oboth and Senior Government Leaders After Swearing-In Event

Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja on Tuesday evening hosted a swearing-in dinner at her residence in Kampala, bringing together senior political and technical leaders from the Ugandan government in a gathering aimed at reinforcing collaboration as she begins a new term in office.


The event was attended by the Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. Oboth Oboth, alongside other high-ranking officials and representatives from key government ministries. 


In her remarks shared after the event, Nabbanja expressed gratitude to the leaders who attended, noting that their presence signified unity and institutional support at the start of her renewed mandate.


“It was a great pleasure hosting the Rt. Hon. Speaker Oboth Oboth, along with political and technical leaders in government, for my swearing-in dinner at my residence in Kampala,” she said.


She added that the occasion provided an opportunity for encouragement and reaffirmation of shared goals within government.


“I thank them for honouring my invitation. I am grateful for their messages of support and inspiration as we start this new term,” Nabbanja stated.


The Prime Minister further emphasized her commitment to working closely with both domestic stakeholders and international development partners, underscoring the government’s focus on socio-economic transformation programmes.


“I look forward to working with all the people of Uganda and our development partners as we drive socio-economic transformation programmes,” she added.The dinner comes at a time when the Ugandan government is intensifying efforts to accelerate development initiatives, with emphasis on infrastructure expansion, service delivery, and economic growth strategies aimed at improving livelihoods.
