The National Unity Platform (NUP) is calling for justice after more than 150 Ugandans were killed during a violent government crackdown in November 2020.
The killings took place after protests broke out following the arrest of NUP leader, Robert Kyagulanyi, also known as Bobi Wine, during his presidential campaign. David Lewis Rubongoya, the Secretary-General of NUP, led a heartfelt memorial to honor the victims, describing their deaths as "crimes against humanity."
The party marked the fourth anniversary of the tragedy on November 18–19, 2020, by holding prayers for the lives lost and sharing stories of the victims' families. GET FULL STORY HERE.
