Uganda is a country with a youthful population, where nearly 77% of its 47 million people are under the age of 30. 

This demographic is facing challenges such as high unemployment, limited opportunities, and lack of political representation. Despite these struggles, the youth in Uganda have not yet formed a united political force. In the 2021 presidential election, young people aged 18 to 30 made up 41% of the voter roll, yet their collective influence was not as strong as expected.

At the forefront of Uganda’s youth political landscape is Robert Kyagulanyi, better known as Bobi Wine.
