Hajjat Minsa Kabanda has won the Kampala Central parliamentary seat, promising to focus on the city’s key challenges.

Speaking after her victory, she said the result reflects voters’ desire for disciplined leadership and practical action.

“Kampala Central has spoken clearly and decisively. This victory is not about noise or slogans; it is about structures, discipline, and leadership that delivers,” Kabanda said.

She emphasized that the electorate chose stability and results over experiments and empty talk.

Kabanda pledged to work with President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni to address critical issues facing Kampala residents, including job creation, public order, trade, security, and restoring dignity.

“The mandate is clear. The work begins now,” she added.

She described her win as a call to protect the gains of the NRM and ensure that leadership delivers tangible improvements for the people of Kampala.

Her remarks suggest a focus on practical governance rather than political rhetoric.

Kabanda’s victory signals strong support for her approach, which prioritizes discipline, structured leadership, and service delivery.

She underscored that her agenda will center on actions that directly benefit Kampala residents, particularly in economic opportunities, law enforcement, and orderly city management.
