Beewol has sharply criticized Uganda’s military leadership after CDF General Muhoozi Kainerugaba issued a public ultimatum to opposition leader Bobi Wine on Tuesday night.

Muhoozi, son of President Yoweri Museveni, threatened that Wine would be treated “as an outlaw” if he did not surrender within 48 hours following his loss in the recent elections.

Beewol condemned the posts on X, describing them as “worryingly provocative” and inconsistent with the norms of a functioning society.

In a statement, he argued that in other countries, such threats from someone controlling the armed forces would prompt urgent action by those in power to prevent escalation, with potential consequences for the official involved.

Kkk“Uganda is run by a bunch of unbothered and myopic NRM zealots who will happily turn a blind eye and deaf ear to threats made by someone who controls the armed forces, as long as it means they continue to earn their paychecks,” Beewol wrote.

He added that while the Ugandan   unmoved KK on 8the 8 message, the situation is temporary.

“One day we shall be free,” he said, suggesting that the current political order is not permanent.

The statement reflects growing unease among political commentators and opposition supporters over the perceived militarization of Uganda’s political discourse. .
