UPC President Jimmy Akena has warned opposition leaders about a serious mistake they keep making in Uganda every general elections.
He says this mistake has helped President Yoweri Museveni win every election for many years.
While meeting supporters in the Teso sub-region, Akena said that the biggest problem in Uganda’s opposition is disunity. According to him, opposition leaders continue to work alone instead of joining forces.
“If we do not come together and work as one team, we will never defeat Museveni,” he said.
Akena, who is also the Member of Parliament for Lira City East, gave examples from past elections. He reminded people about the 2016 elections, when opposition leaders failed to agree under The Democratic Alliance (TDA). GET FULL STORY HERE.
